  • check your eligibility for access to the content; where content is restricted to specific professional groups this is clearly stated in the registration form, 
  • provide you with the services and information offered on the microsite,
  • communicate with you regarding your request,
  • fulfil our legal obligations regarding any mandatory reporting e.g. if access to the content is subject to ToV reporting under the US Sunshine Act of 2021.

V. Analysis

1. General information about the analysis

For our statistical analyses, we use web analysis services that collect data on the use of this site and our apps.

The analysis services collect information such as:

  • Information on the device and browser (device type, operating system, browser version);
  • IP address;
  • Websites viewed, URL click stream (order in which the pages were viewed);
  • Geographical location;
  • Date and time of the website visit;
  • Reference page, application, or service;

2. Google Analytics / Google Tag Manager

We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”). On our behalf Google will use the information generated by a cookie for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to website activity and internet activity in connection with the use of the website.

We have activated the IP-anonymization within the Google Analytics service, and your IP address will be truncated within the area of member states of the European Union or other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases the whole IP address will be first transferred to a Google server in the USA and truncated there.
